Short answer
EvronDesk receives delivery-app orders in three formats: Deliverect, UrbanPiper and its own simple JSON. Through those, it works with foodpanda, Talabat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Careem, Swiggy, Zomato, Grab, DoorDash, Just Eat and others, depending on what your aggregator supports in your country.
How it works
- In Settings → Integrations → Delivery apps, create an intake secret. You'll see your restaurant's intake address.
- Give the address and secret to your aggregator (Deliverect, UrbanPiper) or to the partner that will send orders.
- Make sure each item's PLU or merchant ID in the aggregator matches the SKU of the same item in EvronDesk.
- Send a test order. It appears on the kitchen display and in the Integration activity log.
EvronDesk recognises the format automatically. The channel (for example "Talabat" or "Uber Eats"), customer, address, notes and payment status come across with the order.
Which apps, in which countries
| Region | Common apps | Usual route |
|---|---|---|
| UK & Ireland | Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat | Deliverect |
| UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia | Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, Keeta, noon Food, HungerStation | Deliverect |
| Pakistan | foodpanda | Deliverect or direct |
| India | Swiggy, Zomato | UrbanPiper |
| Singapore & Southeast Asia | GrabFood, foodpanda, Deliveroo | Deliverect |
| US, Canada, Australia | Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, Menulog | Deliverect |
App availability changes often, so check your aggregator's current channel list for your country before you sign up.
What makes it reliable
- Your prices win. Items are matched to your menu by SKU, so recipes, stock and reports use your own data.
- No duplicates. If an app resends the same order, EvronDesk recognises the reference and ignores the repeat.
- Nothing vanishes. Unmatched items are flagged on the ticket and in the log rather than dropping the order.
- Clear payment status. Prepaid orders are marked paid; cash-on-delivery orders show as unpaid for the driver to collect.
- Every event logged. The activity log shows each order received, duplicate ignored or problem found.
Direct integrations
If you work with a local delivery company or your own app, it can send orders straight to EvronDesk. The format is a simple JSON body with an external reference, channel, order type, customer details and items by SKU. The API page and the developer docs have the details.
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect foodpanda or Talabat to EvronDesk?
The usual route is through Deliverect or UrbanPiper, which hold the direct connections to the apps. In EvronDesk, go to Settings → Integrations → Delivery apps, create an intake secret, and give your aggregator the intake address. Map each item's PLU or merchant ID to the SKU in EvronDesk.
Do I need Deliverect or UrbanPiper?
Not always. If an app or partner can send orders by webhook, it can post them straight to EvronDesk's intake endpoint in our simple JSON format. Aggregators are easier when you use several apps.
What happens if an item doesn't match my menu?
The order still comes in, with the unmatched item named on the ticket and recorded in the activity log, so the kitchen can check it rather than the order disappearing.
Do menu changes sync back to the apps?
Menu publishing to apps is handled by your aggregator. EvronDesk's API and webhooks (menu.item.updated) let an aggregator or your developer keep prices and availability in sync.
