Online & QR ordering

Online ordering, QR table ordering and self-order kiosks

Give guests three more ways to order without adding staff: your own online ordering page, a QR code on every table, and a self-order kiosk at the counter. Every order lands on the same kitchen screen as the ones your team rings up.

Short answer

EvronDesk includes commission-free online ordering, QR code table ordering and self-order kiosks. They all use the menu you already set up on the POS, so prices, photos, modifiers and sold-out items are always in sync, and every order goes straight to the kitchen.

Your own ordering page

Every restaurant on EvronDesk gets an ordering page at its own link. Put it in your Instagram bio, on Google Maps, on your website and on your takeaway menus. Guests choose pickup or delivery, pick a time, and order with the same modifiers your staff would use.

Because it's your page rather than a marketplace, there's no commission. Delivery apps are useful for reaching new customers; your own page is where the regulars should order, and it keeps their details in your guest list for loyalty and offers.

QR code table ordering

Print the QR codes from the Tables screen and stick one on each table. Guests scan, order, and can order again later in the meal. The order arrives on the KDS labelled with the table number, and the floor plan updates so servers know table 7 just ordered another round.

QR ordering works well in busy bars, cafés, food courts and hotel pool areas, where flagging down a server is the slowest part of the visit. In full-service restaurants many owners use it for drinks and desserts only, and keep the server for the main order.

Self-order kiosks

A tablet on a stand is all a kiosk needs. Guests order at their own pace, nobody rushes them, and the menu photos do the upselling. Kiosks are a good fit for quick-service counters and canteens with a lunch rush.

One menu everywhere

Change a price once and it changes on the register, the QR menu, the kiosk and your ordering page. Mark something as sold out and it disappears from every channel at once. Time-based menus apply online too, so nobody can order breakfast at 9 pm.

Delivery zones and fees

Draw your delivery areas, set a fee and minimum order for each, and EvronDesk checks the address before the order goes through. Delivery orders appear on the delivery board for dispatch.

Order tracking and the ready board

Guests get a live tracking link that shows when the order is being prepared, ready, or out for delivery. In the restaurant, an order-ready board on any spare screen shows which numbers are ready to collect, which replaces buzzers and pagers.

Frequently asked questions

Does EvronDesk charge commission on online orders?

No. Orders through your own EvronDesk ordering page and QR codes carry no commission. You pay your normal plan price and, if guests pay online, the card processor's fee.

How does QR table ordering work?

Each table gets its own QR code. A guest scans it, browses your menu on their phone and sends the order. It arrives on the kitchen display tagged with the table number, and the server sees it on the floor plan.

Can I run a self-order kiosk?

Yes. Put a tablet on a stand at the counter and open the ordering page in kiosk mode. Guests order and either pay online or pay at the counter.

Can guests pay online?

Yes, through Stripe in the countries Stripe supports. You can also accept orders as pay-at-counter or cash on delivery.
